KNOW AND CAN ASSOCIATION
KNOW AND CAN ASSOCIATION is a non-governmental organization, founded in 2007 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It works on national and European projects and is developing programs, courses and activities in the sphere of non-formal and informal education and trainings. The Association is accredited as European Voluntary Service Center.
The main goals of the Association are: to elaborate and apply specialized programs aiming to develop social and civil skills of children, youths and adults; to apply modern methods and technologies for development of non-formal education; to train specialists in the sphere of non-formal education.
The main activities of “Know and Can“ Association are: elaboration and management of own projects; participation in national and international projects and programs; organizing and cooperation in implementing regional, local, national and international events of educational character; organizing permanently held seminars, workshops, discussions and other events for exchange of ideas and good practices for popularization of non-formal education; making contacts and cooperation with state bodies and non-governmental organizations having attitude to education; organizing educational courses for specialists working in the sphere of non-traditional education; cultural and educational tourism.
Know and Can Association performs a range of non-formal courses and activities. The main objectives of these courses and activities are raising the qualification of young people and improvement of their knowledge and personal and professional skills in order to help them to be competitive, aware, successful and bright ones.
Know and Can activities are aimed at the improvement of knowledge and skills of young people also encouraging them to lead a more active and beneficial life. Know and Can team has the capacity to reach an wide audience of young people, because it has many contacts with youth, schools, NGO working with young people and youth associations.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION
Career Development and Integration (DEFOIN) was born in 2009 with the idea of promoting training for employment and insertion of employed and unemployed workers.
DEFOIN has extensive experience in the comprehensive management of training plans, as well as specific solutions tailored to the need of design, management and delivery of continuing and occupational training for businesses and employed and unemployed.
DEFOIN managed plans offer training aimed at both for employed and unemployed, as well as training demand by the company.
DEFOIN has a network of over 180 collaborating centers scattered around the country and accredited to conduct leading to the award of certificates of professionalism in training different professional families.
The training sector is constantly changing, so DEFOIN has a Department of I + D + I where more and more advanced content are made. We have one of the platforms most advanced e-learning market, with a high level of control of content and level of customization.
DEFOIN has been authorized as Employment Agency to provide workers/as a labor intermediation and users in finding and achieving suitable employment to the properties and provide employers the most appropriate to their needs and requirements in terms of working people their professional skills and qualification levels.
Since 2001, Materahub has been committed to support young and wannabe entrepreneurs in developing their own skills and growing their business both nationally and internationally.
Entrepreneurship education and startup support initiatives are the core business of Materahub, enhanced by European partnership and EU funded programmes. Among different economic fields, Materahub has a specific focus on creative and cultural sector, therefore anything related to culture, cultural heritage, food and tourism. As a member of several EU networks, Materahub firmly believes in an innovative entrepreneurial model based on sustainable development with valuable cultural and social impact through European cooperations.
Danmar Computers LLC is a private company operating in the field of Information Technology and providing vocational training in this field. Danmar has an extensive experience in developing modern Web and mobile applications that are used for educational purposes. Danmar also has long-term experience of carrying out European projects within which company’s R&D staff conducts research and prepares trainings tailored to the needs of various learners. During 15 years, Danmar has successfully implemented over 50 projects within Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Progress and recently Erasmus+.
In many of these projects Danmar was responsible for designing and coordinating dissemination strategies. Danmar Computers is the developer and provider of AdminProject (adminproject.eu), the on-line system for management of European projects. All activities of the company are based on wide and well-established cooperation network, both on national and international levels. The national networks include training and counselling institutions, universities, schools, non-governmental organisations as well as private sector companies. International network include partners of various profiles coming from every European Union’s country. Danmar Computer’s mission is the promotion of life-long education and assurance of equal access to education for everyone with the use of modern technology.

AKMI ANONIMI EKPAIDEFTIKI ETAIRIA was founded back in 1989 and is one of the leading Vocational Training Institutes in Greece providing post-secondary education (ISCED 4). Directorate of National Education works under Ministry of Education and conducts services of administration, personnel, education, in-service training of teachers and other staff, training of teacher candidates, budget, investments, investigation and guidance in educational institutions that are subsidiaries of Ministry of Education. Main departments are Education and Student Affairs, Computers and Examination Services, In-service Training, Culture, Appointment, Apprenticeship and Mass Education, Budget-Investments and Facilities, Employee and Record, Private Schooling and Guidance, Civil Defence Services, Preschool Education, Physical Education and Sports, Service for Teachers and Social Operations, Scholarships, Health Issues, Mass Education, InvestigationPlanning and Statistics, Educational Tools and Equipment, Archive and Administration, Press and Public Relations. Schools under the Directorate: 15 Kindergartens, 78 primary schools, 84 secondary schools, 43 high schools with 48672 students and 4163 teachers. The high schools in the province consist of 12 Anatolian High schools, 2 Science High Schools, 1 Social Sciences High School, 6 Religion High Schools and 22 Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools. There are 9 Adult Education Centers and 2 Vocational Training Centers throughout the province.
